Creation Company at

Creation Company is more than just another activity in your already busy schedule!  You have lots or choices in how to spend your precious time, so for each activity you choose; you need to evaluate what your child takes away from it.

In Creation Company we focus on the whole child – spiritual, emotional and physical.   We use biblically based music and drama to examine who God is and who we are as Christians.  And, we do it in a fun, meaningful way.

The way Creation Company kids work together is a great object lesson for the body of Christ.  Each child brings their unique gifts and talents.  Some are shy, others outgoing.  Some are good readers, others singers.  Each one is critical in the success of Creation Company.  And that success is achieved when we all work together to glorify God.

Why Music?

If you think that music is merely entertainment, think again.  Because of the way our brains are wired, music is a powerful tool for learning God’s truth.  Research shows that when we learn a concept through music, it registers in our brain at a deeper level and we’re able to recall it more readily.  By learning biblical concepts through music, they literally become a part of who we are.

Additionally, our music is a praise offering to God.  And last time I checked, praising God wasn’t and optional activity but a directive from Him.  So by participating in choir, we’re being obedient to God’s command – and having fun at the same time!

Why Drama?

Educators know, the more senses used when learning, the better you learn.  Drama is not a sit-still activity but uses all the senses, reinforcing what you’re learning – in this case, biblical principles.

Additionally, drama gives each child a chance to succeed.  Everyone has an important role to play in putting together a performance that ministers to others and to God.
